What does steaming mean?
Steaming is a technique that has its origins in oriental culture. It is considered one of the healthiest cooking methods in the kitchen and is based on the principle of convection. Steaming means transmitting a sufficient amount of heat to the food through a medium, in this case steam. The steam completely envelops the food , cooking it gently and evenly.
What can I steam?
Steaming is truly versatile and allows you to cook almost any type of food. Many types of vegetables, fish, white meat, eggs and even, as Chinese cuisine teaches us, dumplings and other varieties of filled pasta.

SPEED OF USE
VIVO Vapo Jet uses an innovative technology capable of emitting steam within 30 seconds of switching on. This allows for minimal waste of time and therefore energy. Most other steamers emit steam between 3 and 7 minutes after switching on.
LIVE-LOAD CAPACITY
The Vapo Jet is one of the largest steamers on the market with a maximum capacity of 11 litres on two levels, 6 litres at the bottom and 5 litres at the top. The maximum capacity can be extended up to 16 litres by adding a third level (which can be purchased separately). In addition, it is possible to mount the upper basket without mounting the intermediate level, which allows even large foodstuffs, such as a whole chicken or a small pumpkin, to be placed in the steamer.
MICRO-STEAM
Vapo Jet's steam is called micro-steam because it is emitted in smaller particles than the normal steam emitted by boiling water. This allows greater penetration into the food, greater uniformity and gentleness in cooking.
SPACE-SAVING DESIGN
This steamer has been designed to fit on the kitchen worktop at all times, taking up as little space as possible. When closed, it is only 8 cm deep, allowing it to be placed against the wall, between two appliances or even inside a cabinet. Even the trays and lid once stacked take up as little space as possible.
