Its elegant and compact design has been specially designed for those with limited space (although the dehydrator can also be used in areas other than the kitchen, such as a cellar, garage, etc.). It has 5 trays which can be adjusted in two different positions, allowing even larger or thicker pieces to be dehydrated.

What does it mean to dehydrate food?
Dehydrating means completely removing the liquids present inside a food using controlled-temperature ventilation, and this is where the dehydrator comes in. It is a traditional and natural preservation method, allowing seasonal vegetables to be bought and stored for consumption throughout the year.
Therefore, dehydration is the most natural preservation method possible, allowing long-term storage while preserving the organoleptic characteristics and nutritional properties of foods as best as possible.

How does a dehydrator work?
The operation of the dehydrator is very simple:
A heating element generates heat based on the set temperature, which can range from 35°C to 70°C, and this heat is distributed by a fan that creates a constant airflow through the perforated trays.
Unlike natural sun drying, this gentle airflow ensures that dehydration occurs more quickly and is not affected by the humidity present in the air. Additionally, sunlight can alter certain properties of foods, such as photosensitive vitamins and aromas.
What can I dehydrate?
VEGETABLES
Any type of vegetable can be easily dehydrated. Ideal for those who grow their own garden and do not want to waste excess produce that cannot be consumed fresh.
FRUIT
Orchards often ripen quickly, making it impossible to consume all the fruit, resulting in spoilage and waste of overripe fruit. By dehydrating them, it is possible to use 100% of the fruits produced or purchased.
MUSHROOMS (and products available only seasonally)
Dried mushrooms are a specialty many people do not want to give up; drying them is very easy, and the flavors are even enhanced. Similarly, all products that are only available in limited periods or under specific weather conditions can be dehydrated.
HERBS AND FLOWERS
Dehydrating aromatic, medicinal, and officinal herbs has been practiced for thousands of years. For lovers of teas and infusions, this is an excellent way to preserve collected herbs. Flowers are also very suitable for infusions, or to decorate and flavor dishes or desserts.
