The main characteristics of strawberries and mangoes
Strawberries , a fruit loved by everyone and the absolute protagonists of the summer season, have a high vitamin C content, much higher than that of citrus fruits. They are also rich in mineral salts such as calcium, phosphorus, iron and magnesium, have a high antioxidant power and are particularly suitable for fighting cholesterol.
They are very refreshing, diuretic and detoxifying and contain a good source of ellagic acid, an effective anti-cancer.
Mango is also not far behind in terms of vitamins : it contains in particular A in addition to C, D, E and K, vitamins of the B group and minerals such as phosphorus, sodium, iron, calcium, magnesium and potassium. Mango also contains an antioxidant that helps the pancreas and colon work, it also has diuretic and laxative properties useful in cases of constipation and water retention. Its low calorie content makes it an ideal fruit for those following a slimming diet, but given its high quantity of sugars it is not recommended for those suffering from diabetes.
Let's see together how to prepare a delicious sorbet with these two ingredients.
