Ideal for children's snacks but also for adults', rich in fruit pulp and without the addition of refined sugars , colorants and preservatives , they are truly fresh and delicious.
How to make them with the extractor?
Just extract the juice, pour it into the appropriate molds, put them in the freezer overnight and that's it! You can then enjoy delicious ice lollies that contain all the healthy properties of fruit and vegetables.
You can really indulge in making this fresh dessert, using all the seasonal fruit you have available, possibly very ripe because it is naturally more sugary.
For this recipe we used the Big Mouth Live Extractor and the large-hole basket , which allows you to obtain a more consistent pulp, making the ice lollies full of flavor and do-it-yourself, a real gain in terms of health.
Recipe Properties
The basis of this recipe is mainly made up of red juice, given by the presence of beetroot which is particularly purifying , refreshing , low-calorie , rich in water and mineral salts such as potassium, iron, calcium, phosphorus and sodium.
In addition to turnips, we have strawberries and raspberries which are characterised by their high content of vitamin C , antioxidants and a high anti-inflammatory , draining and purifying power.
Finally we find mango , also with high antioxidant properties, useful in digestive processes, regenerating and constituent . Rich in fiber, minerals such as potassium and magnesium and vitamins of group B, A and especially C.

Ingredients for 8 ice lollies
- 1 red turnip
- 400 gr of strawberries
- 125g of raspberries
- 1 mango
- fresh strawberry pieces for decoration
- 5 tablespoons maple syrup

Preparation
- Peel the beetroot and cut it into pieces
- Clean the strawberries thoroughly, removing the green part and cut them in half.
- Peel the mango and cut it into pieces
- Insert the large hole filter
- First put the turnip into the extractor together with the strawberries and raspberries
- Extract the red juice, sweeten with three tablespoons of maple syrup and place in the refrigerator
- Disassemble the extractor, perform the cleaning procedures to extract the mango juice and sweeten with two tablespoons of maple syrup
- Take the molds and insert the red juice up to about two centimeters from the edge
- Place the container with the molds in the freezer for about two hours, after which time add the mango juice and some strawberry slices
- Place the container in the freezer for about eight hours
- Once the time has passed, take a pan in which to heat a quantity of water sufficient to contain the ice lolly holder. Immerse for a few minutes, the time necessary to detach the ice lollies from the container and they will be ready to be enjoyed.
